Here’s our story

Small Business Pain Relief (SBPR) was founded by Don Roberts in January 2007.

Don had a couple of years of experience already under his belt in search engine optimization (SEO), social media optimization (SMO), and website design & coding.

By late 2006, Don realized that small business websites, particularly, were at a disadvantage in the search engine indexes. Small business websites are usually buried somewhere deep in the search results index…virtually hidden from customers. Don knew that even though many small business owners were versed in using a search engine themselves to find things…they typically did not know how the search engines work.

And, the “how” part directly affects where a small business website ends up in the search index (Page 1, Page 100, Page 1,000).

Our mission

SBPR came about to help small business owners get their websites found by customers looking for their products, services, and offers. When your small business website gets found in the search engines (and other key places), you naturally get more traffic to your site. More traffic = more customers = more revenue. Pretty straightforward, right?
